Hi Everyone.
I just joined your group. I’m not new to fibromyalgia, I was diagnosed when they first acknowledged there was such a thing, about 20 years ago. Until recently I have not known anyone else with fibromyalgia. I look forward to hearing from long time sufferers have the same kind of experiences I have had. One of my main questions is, do you found that you have a high pain tolerance and/or can block out or at least ignore the general day to day pain and tiredness? And that you don’t get so depressed by it any more? I have hard days where I hurt and ache and it is hard to put one foot in front of another, but having to do that so much over the years I find I just do it. I also find if I push myself to be active I can sometimes push through the pain and can get by the worst part of it. Anyone else with this experience? Look forward to getting to know everyone.
