    If you do, start luke warm and just legs bottom to top, and see how it is for you after: Ideally it cools & numbs pain & unrest etc. and accelerates & deepens sleep. Then arms, bottom to top, then chest, face, back, as far as is possible. Then decrease temperature.... :) Good luck!

    Thanks! I heard that cold water on the chest helps reset the nervous system's stress response, with fibro potentially inflaming the central nervous system that would make sense! I've tried turning the water cold at the end of showers before (was told it might cure my depression (eyeroll)) and I naturally followed the instructions you gave, perfect! It does make me feel better, I gotta remember to do it more haha!

    Good on ya! :) If you really do try it for insomnia other people say don't do it directly before bedtime, maybe an hour before. But I find it works better the sooner I get back to bed. First I feel slightly powered up, but after 10 minutes (lying thinking this isn't gonna work) it's just soothed relief and I quickly drift into some deep relaxed sleep, and repeat it at least once in the night atm....
